Khloé Alexandra Kardashian Odom
Khloé Alexandra Kardashian Odom was born on June 27, 1984. She is the youngest daughter of Robert Kardashian and Kris Jenner; but the third child out of four. When Khloé was at a very young age, her mother and father got a divorce. Her mother, Kris Jenner, soon met Bruce Jenner and was married to him less than a year later. When Khloé was 11 years old, her mom gave birth to Kendall Nicole Jenner. Only 2 years later Kris Jenner gave birth to Kylie Kristen Jenner. Kylie is the youngest daughter of Kris and Bruce Jenner. Khloé refers to herself as Kendall and Kylie's second mother. Khloé enrolled herself in homeschooling when she entered high school, she hated the whole experience. She graduated with honors and decided to stay away from going to college. When Khloé was 19 years old, her father Robert George Kardashian passed away due to esophageal cancer. He passed away on September 30, 2003; only 8 weeks after the diagnosis of the terminal illness. As her sisters, Kourtney and Kim, spent as much time as they could with him; it was a lot harder for Khloé to deal with. When he passed away, Khloé described it as the hardest time in her life. She was not able to talk about his passing and separated herself from her family. She wasn't able to hear his name without crying. Khloé began drinking alcohol a lot more, and became extremely aggressive, she believes it was her way of grieving for the most part. Khloé began not only partying all the time but showing her grief physically as well. Khloé suffered from night terrors, which caused her to never sleep. She also got an ulcer, lost all of her hair and lost a lot of weight. Khloé lost so much hair that she had to wear a wig until her hair grew back after two years. A few of the things that Khloé learned from her father was to always have faith in what you believe in, be loyal, maintain a strong work ethic, always put your family first, never be judgmental, always dance, smile, tell jokes, and laugh at yourself. Those were just some of the few amazing things she learned from such an amazing man like her father. In 2006, only three years after the death of their father, Khloé and her sisters opened up a small boutique in Calabasas, California called DASH. They used this store as a way of coping with the death of their father and to start a business in his name. In 2007, Khloé as well as the rest of her family were asked to star in their own reality show, known as Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Of course her family agreed and their on-set stardom began from there. At first, Khloé and her sister, Kourtney, did not like the attention they were getting from the media. Their first appearance on a social media website was negative, and Khloé recalls actually crying from the mean things they were posting about her and her sister. Khloé related all of this attention to when she was back in school, she soon learned to shrug off the negativity and move on with her life, she says that after about a month, she regained her confidence! Khloé and Kourtney were offered their own spin-off show called Kourtney and Khloé Take Miami. The show lasted two seasons until Kourtney found out she was pregnant with her first child in 2009. The year 2009 seemed very productive for the Kardashian family. Not only were the expecting a new baby to enter the family but Khloé announced that she was bringing a new member into the family as well, although she was not pregnant she was going to be marrying a man she met only 30 days before. Khloé married NBA player, Lamar Odom on September 27, 2009! With the help of her mother Kris, her wedding was planned in just 9 days! Khloé and Lamar's -- who now have the nickname KhloMar -- wedding was aired on E! in a special episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians on November 8, 2009. Khloé and Lamar announced that they were going to start filming a 2nd spin-off show from Keeping Up With the Kardashians in January of 2010. The show was called Khloé and Lamar. The show included all of the drama that the unbreakable couple faced when Lamar was signed off of the LA Lakers and joined the Dallas Mavericks in 2011. The couple moved to Texas and went through a lot of difficulty adjusting. Khloé started to publicly announce that she was facing fertility issues, and the show really helped their viewers realize what a struggle the couple was truly going through. After one season of playing with the Dallas Mavericks, the couple gladly moved back to LA to join the Clippers where Lamar is succeeding in his NBA career. Throughout the year of 2011, the couple released their first unisex fragrance called Unbreakable Bond. It was an instant success. In 2012, Khloé and Lamar released another version of Unbreakable Bond called Unbreakable Joy. It was a limited time holiday version that made a lot of money. Soon after Unbreakable Joy was released, Unbreakable Love was instantly distributed in DASH LA, DASH NYC, and DASH Miami. The fragrance later was sold in select stores as well as online. As their fragrances were booming, Khloé and her two sisters, Kourtney and Kim designed a make-up line, tanning lotion line, and clothing line. All with the Kardashian name. Khroma Beauty, Kardashian Glow, and Kardashian Kollection are all very successful businesses that the girls came out with. Throughout the hardship's Khloé has faced she has became an amazing role model, idol, and inspiration to many Kardashian fans around the world. Regardless of the struggles her fans will always love her know matter what.
